Today is Sam’s 18 month anniversary post stem cell transplant! 💪🏼

He and John spent the weekend together at Bates for “Back to Bates” Family Weekend. The report was the weather was nice and they went to Freeport, ME to get some winter clothes. The mama heart here in CA was happy to hear that.

And in a small world turn of events: our high school friend, Jeff Hudgins, who is an exceptional saxophone player, plays in a band called Bombay Rickey and they were on a 3 stop tour in New England and **one of the stops was the Olin Center at Bates** on Friday night !!?!?!?! So John and Sam got to hear them play live! 🤯

Remember: John and I went to high school in San Antonio so far away from Maine.

Jeff and his family live in Brooklyn so if you ever hear Bombay Rickey is going to be playing, go check them out!
