Got a call this afternoon from the on-call oncologist saying Sam’s neutrophils hadn’t gotten the memo from his other white blood cells. Get with the program neutrophils! 80 isn’t going to cut it 🤨. You need to follow your brother and sister WBCs — your goal is only  north of 300. They hit 1400 (from 600 on Tuesday too!).

So we are back to our original blood draw and possible admission date of Tuesday 11/15 and hopefully we’ll see the neutrophil number hit its target AND there will be space for Sam in the procedure schedule (Tuesdays after long weekends can get busier than normal Tuesdays). 

Thankfully we moved our flights to 11/22.
