We made it LA! 8+ hour drive that was actually awesome. Sam was engaged the entire time — no cell phone !  We played a bunch of rounds of “draft” which is a game where each person drafts a “team” based on a theme: ice cream flavors, worst people in history, predators, Disney movies. And then there were the fun discussions of “is sorbet included” or “what is considered Disney: do we include Star Wars? What about Pixar?” And then of course there was all the funny banter about our choices as we made them.

Zack was the judge of our (anonymous to him) choices over lunch. Somehow he knew which ones Sam chose?!?!?  Maybe he was secretly listening in while he was gaming in the back seat 🧐. Sam’s selections were always deemed the best! Maybe it’s because they are closer in age so think more similarly about what “the best” ice cream is etc. I didn’t get any credit for Neapolitan! I think I should’ve won outright with that choice, tbh. 3 flavors in 1?!?!?! What’s not to like!
