Today has been much better — Sam reports no nausea today (that may be the Aloxi working along with his newly arrived white blood cells) —woohoo!

He’s been sitting up in his chair and playing Overwatch and even had a friend over to visit!

Tomorrow we hope Zack will get to come visit (but those of you who text with Zack, please do NOT mention this in case Sam feels worse tomorrow and we have to bail on this plan). 

Zack has been very, very patient. He hasn’t seen Sam in 3 weeks !?!?!?!?!

White blood cell counts are up to 0.3 K/µl — woot!

And John helped him shave his head so the curls are gone and we are anticipating the next evolution: will it be wavy? Curls? Curlier? Straight? A different color?  We’ve heard from the medical team that any of these can happen. For now, I’m remembering how much I liked the shape of his head.  And, of course, his eyebrows and eyes.
