Our friend Bryan was visiting the Bay Area last week — he’s an 18 year survivor of a kidney transplant ❤️. His generous donor was his cousin. He told us a really interesting story: he’s met many transplant recipients and one of them was a woman who’d had a heart transplant. She told him how she’d never liked beer and after her heart transplant, she started drinking a couple of Buds per week.  A number of years after that, she had the opportunity to meet her donor’s family and lo and behold he had been a Bud drinker!  

So John’s joke was “Now Sam will be a big vegetable eater.”  😂
